Levy Salis LLP is very pleased to welcome, Kevork Kevorkian, Partner and member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec, to our team of experienced legal professionals. Kevork has been a practicing notary for the past 25 years, is accredited to preside over non-contentious proceedings for the probate of wills, the homologation of protection mandates and the institution of protective supervision, and is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Starting his practice as a general practitioner in 1994, Kevork developed an affinity for trusts and estates and asset protection over the course of 15 years as a solo practitioner.
His passion for trusts and estates lead him to work for two of the largest Canadian financial institutions for a period of seven years. As a trust and estate specialist, Kevork closely collaborates with leading industry experts to provide clients with exclusive wealth management services.
In 2018, Kevork returned to private practice as the first and sole Notary named partner of a national Canadian law firm with over 500 lawyers which allowed him to further develop his expertise et expand his network in the estate planning industry. Having drafted over 8,000 contracts, Kevork has explored a wide range of facets of law allowing him to acquire both broad and deep knowledge. In addition to serving his private clients, Kevork is a widely sought after speaker on family law and has represented several municipalities, religious institutions and educational institutions. He was recently appointed as an auditor for one of the largest trust companies in Canada. His considerable experience allows him to quickly target a client’s needs and propose various internal and external solutions. Kevork will now offer his specialized services in estate planning and will continue his development in the area of cross border tax and estate planning.
The addition of Kevork to our team expands the scope of the services offered to our clients and we are delighted with this addition.
